We’re heading West!
Our Pathfinder club is excited to attend the Believe the Promise, International Pathfinder Camporee in August 2024. This event is a significant spiritual milestone for many of our young pathfinders, and we anticipate it to be a truly inspiring experience.
At previous camporees, thousands of pathfinders chose to be baptized, as it provides a unique and uplifting spiritual atmosphere. In 2019, four of our pathfinders made their lifelong commitment to Jesus and were spontaneously baptized. This year, we already have one pathfinder who intends to do the same.
The camporee is also a great opportunity for our young people to make friends and connections with other Seventh-Day Adventists from around the world. This experience will undoubtedly ignite a renewed passion for Jesus in our pathfinders.
As we gear up for the upcoming camporee, we have been actively organizing multiple fundraisers to help us achieve our goal. In February, we hosted our highly-anticipated Love and Friendship banquet, and we continue to receive generous donations through our ongoing penny donations and bottle and can recycling drive.
